About Vamshi
Vamshi Krishna Putta leads engineering at Lokta, and co-owns every implementation with Ashok: he is the engineer a lender’s own team talks to when a migration plan turns into a cut-over.
He spent five years at a commercial lending platform built on Apache Fineract, first as a full-stack engineer and then as lead developer, where he built a credit-line product that grew past fifteen million accounts for more than ten banks, NBFCs and fintechs, and worked across gold loans, microfinance and loans against securities. He then led engineering teams as a Senior Engineering Manager, first at a larger fintech and most recently at Volt Money, a loans-against-mutual-funds platform carrying more than ₹4,000 crore in AUM over more than 1.8 lakh active loans, where he took a 75% LTV product live under new RBI regulations.
Two parts of that record matter most to a lender changing systems. He has migrated nine million accounts and reconciled every one of them, and he has carried an RBI moratorium through a million microfinance accounts.
